Meet Makaio- meaning "Gift of God" in Hawaiian. We set up a vintage luau theme to celebrate his heritage and name. With that adorable face and rolls for days, clearly he's in the running for America's cutest 6 month old!

I was blessed to be able to capture Little J's newborn portraits as well as her 1 year portraits/cake smash. She has the most amazing smile and a dynamic personality to go along with it. Check it out...      Cake smashes are always fun to style and be apart of. This guy enjoyed his time here at the studio. The one year mark is such an important time to celebrate...when my own were just wee littles I cherished this milestone. I cried when they both turned one! I'm not sure if it was because they were growing so fast or I was just elated that I had survived the first year :)         Baby E's face is simply irresistible. She didn't even make me work for the smiles. One year sessions are always a blast and almost always followed by a cake smash!!! Yummy!       I may sound a little bias saying that Baby C is the cutest little guy ever!!! My little nephew was an absolute angel through his shoot. I am honored to be able to document my sisters growing family and capture these huge milestones in their lives! It makes me all warm in fuzzy inside...Smiles!           Oh my goodness, some littles just love having their portraits taken. Little Maisy could not have been in a better mood for her session. She was such a little ham! She enjoyed every part of her yummy cake too!!! 
Holly came back 6 months later. Wow, how fast they grow and change. She rocked her 6 month session just like she rocked her newborn session. She's so stinkin' cute!!! We went with a vintage inspired theme. Mama was a big time traveler before the babies so a vintage suitcase was a must! 
I had the pleasure of photographing this little guys mama during her pregnancy. I was elated when she asked me to take Crue's newborn images. He is just a little doll with the most beautiful lips and skin tone. It's no secret that the newborns hold a special place in my heart. They are the reason I decided on photography as a career. I hope you enjoy these as much as I do :) 
I absolutely love the 3 month milestone. I think it's a great alternative if you happened to let newborn portraits slip by you. At 3 months the babies tend to have a little "chunk" to them and react to noises and voices. They happen to be awake through most of the session but we always seem to manage to nab a few images of their little cat naps. 
Sweet, adorable, squishy Ava came to have her 1 year portraits done. She was rocking and rolling. She made my job super easy, it helped that she had Mommy, Daddy, Auntie, and Uncle to keep her company and make her smile. Enjoy! 
This little loves mommy contacted me when he was already 7 days old, I was so fortunate to be able to fit them in the schedule and I am sure glad I did! He and his older brothers were so good and they are absolutely adorable. We actually did a 2 part session to include both indoor and outdoor images. Enjoy... 
This little one was just in time to celebrate Fourth of July in style. We captured some amazing images of Aria along with her siblings at just 6 days old. She has the fullest head of hair there was no way I was going to cover it up with a hat. Welcome little Aria!!! 
I can't express how fun these cake smashes are. For many babies this is the first time they are tasting cake. Some love it and some don't. Either way it is a fun experience. Aiden loved his cake!!! 
Okay, Baby Charlie is the cutest little lady ever with an amazing personality. She literally sat there and let us take her portraits without ever fussing. Babies at 3 months are fun to shoot because they start to become animated and full of expression. I am still able to use some of my newborn style props which is always a bonus. Charlie is a living little doll. See for yourself. Enjoy! 
I just fell in love with these beautiful blue eyes and porcelain skin. Baby M is so sweet and gentle which is captured perfectly in these images. I am a huge fan of shabby chic, rustic, and vintage style so this set was so up my alley. Enjoy...and Happy 1st Birthday Baby M!!!
