It feels great to be blogging again! I feel like it's been ages!!! Baby Charlotte was accompanied by her big sis at her newborn session, making sure to watch our every move. We were able to wrangle big sis for a few shots, she was on the move with her own agenda. Love the cuteness of these new sisters...They will share a lifetime of memories together.
I love these babies so much! They melt my heart...I build such a bond with my newborns that I get to continue to photograph as they grow! She had the most amazing dimple at birth and it's still there! Enjoy
Sweet Baby E joined me in my studio along with her adorable older brother. I can't express how blessed I feel to be able to hold and snuggle newborns and babies for a living. Just look at the precious memories captured for a lifetime.
Oh my goodness, some littles just love having their portraits taken. Little Maisy could not have been in a better mood for her session. She was such a little ham! She enjoyed every part of her yummy cake too!!!
Holly came back 6 months later. Wow, how fast they grow and change. She rocked her 6 month session just like she rocked her newborn session. She's so stinkin' cute!!! We went with a vintage inspired theme. Mama was a big time traveler before the babies so a vintage suitcase was a must!
This newborn lady is just simply gorgeous! She was a little doll during her session with her mommy and daddy by her side. I truly enjoy capturing patriotic images of newborns, the American flag makes such a statement. We were also able to use heirloom pearls which belonged to her great grandmother adding a vintage feel to her session as well. Newborns are the closest thing to heaven that I know...
It's truly amazing getting to work with these littles, they are the true passion behind my photography. Just look at this little princess shine!
Sweet, adorable, squishy Ava came to have her 1 year portraits done. She was rocking and rolling. She made my job super easy, it helped that she had Mommy, Daddy, Auntie, and Uncle to keep her company and make her smile. Enjoy!
Okay, Baby Charlie is the cutest little lady ever with an amazing personality. She literally sat there and let us take her portraits without ever fussing. Babies at 3 months are fun to shoot because they start to become animated and full of expression. I am still able to use some of my newborn style props which is always a bonus. Charlie is a living little doll. See for yourself. Enjoy!
I just fell in love with these beautiful blue eyes and porcelain skin. Baby M is so sweet and gentle which is captured perfectly in these images. I am a huge fan of shabby chic, rustic, and vintage style so this set was so up my alley. Enjoy...and Happy 1st Birthday Baby M!!!
Baby E was such a joy to work with. They are only this tiny for a short while which is why capturing these images is so important. Nothing is more miraculous than a new life so why not take the time to have it documented to cherish forever?
I am always overjoyed when I am asked to capture the first images of a brand new baby. The whole process is an amazing one that I enjoy so much. I am truly blessed and thankful to share these moments with growing families. Thank you Rachel for trusting me to be apart of Charlie's first photo shoot.
Who wouldn't love watching a one year old smash cake with her hands and feet while enjoying every minute of it? Baby C turned one and my long time friend sought me out to photograph these beautiful images of her little princess. Cake smashes are the new trend for First Year Baby Photography. We start with nice clean beautiful images and end with handfuls of cake and frosting. Yummy!!!
Happy Birthday Baby C, you are one precious angel!
This senior session was a collaborative shoot with Michelle Rosso of Michelle Pinup Dos for my senior photography promotion. She does some amazingly awesome work and she just so happens to be my little sis. Autumn volunteered as our little model and she rocked it! This is Autumn's personal style and I think it's important to emphasize that in senior portraits. Senior portraits should be a fun experience not stuffy and uncomfortable. Take a moment to admire this throwback vintage beauty.
There are a lot of photographers who would rather not shoot 3 month old babies because of the limited poses. I on the other hand think any age is the perfect age. 3 months is a milestone and can be captured beautifully. Look at this little angel and all of her beauty. She even took a couple of cat naps so we were able to capture her awake and asleep.
I'm a creator by nature and I love to dream...
